Decide which award category or multiple categories (3 maximum) you would like to enter for by going to the Categories page.
Thoroughly read through the Rules of Entry and the Awards Criteria.
There is specific criteria for each separate award category. Please ensure that the criteria are adhered to in order to ensure you qualify for entry.
Next you will need to download and complete the Entry Form and email to firstname.lastname@example.org including the required supporting documentation.
(NB only entries submitted via the online process will be accepted. Please do not send any supplementary documents or attachments other than those requested on the nomination form – they will not be included in your entry).
Rules of entry
Nominations can only be accepted from those whose trading addresses fall within the North East and Tees Valley region.

All categories require a minimum period of trading/operation, please check specific category criteria for details.
There is no age limit for entrants with the exception of ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ where entries are only accepted from nominees under 30 on 22nd November 2019.
Nominations will NOT be accepted from 2018 winners who wish to apply for the same category – nominations from 2018 runners up and shortlisted candidates are encouraged.
Nominees can enter for a total of three categories only (unless specified).
The judges’ reserve the right to put category winners forward for the Susan Dobson Award (if they have not already entered).
All entries are treated in confidence. Any accounts submitted will be for the sight of the judges only and will not be published. Any other information submitted on the nomination form may be used for promotional and publicity purposes post awards (please do not send any supplementary information or attachments).
Shortlisted nominees should expect a company visit and interview on their premises.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
